In a time where violence seems to be the language of choice for many, cool heads and open dialogue are more important than ever. This t-shirt represents the power of art. Art comes in many forms and serves many purposes, and the pencil is a great vessel for creation. When it comes to conflict, my pencil is my rifle.

With beautiful vocals intertwined with powerful words of hope through struggle, love and spiritual fulfilment – Verena reminds us to embrace our humanity and love the world around us. When I experience her art, I sense that she believes that the true path to peace is love, empathy and communication. She doesn’t defend her beliefs with violence because words are her weapon. It’s for that reason, that I asked her to work with me on this photoshoot.
